Impact AI

Headquartered in Toronto, WhiteBox brings together subject-matter experts, developers, and academia to research and develop A.I. tools and frameworks for ESG impact and risk intelligence.

We believe technology is not a silver bullet, but can play a pivotal role solving the world's greatest environmental, social, and governance challenges.

Research and development has gone into data science, machine learning, and data frameworks to construct WhiteBoxes around organizations and stakeholder ecosystems, increasing transparency, accountability, and impact intelligence.

4 STAKEHOLDER  PILLARS

WhiteBox is being built as a tool to help address the complexities of multi-stakeholder ecosystems that span across the four stakeholder dimensions of:

  1. Government

  2. Environment

  3. Society

  4. Private Sector

What we found was:

1) Identifying, reducing, and mitigating certain risks will improve the positive impact of projects and investments.

2) Maximizing positive impact will in turn reduce and mitigate certain risks significantly.

3) Doing 1 & 2 creates a virtuous cycle that creates trust and fosters partnership which are critical to successful projects and investments that span across multiple stakeholder groups.

4) A golden age in data science coupled with recent strides in artificial intelligence (machine learning etc), makes for strong building blocks to construct robust stakeholder frameworks for exponentially better impact and risk intelligence.

Therefore:

WhiteBox is a continuous amalgamation of both tried and true practices as well as innovative technologies that go a long way in fostering a virtuous cycle of value protection and creation, trust, and ultimately partnership in stakeholder ecosystems around the world.
